Unlocking New Agricultural Opportunities
Ensuring "Million Dollar Rain" Throughout the Growing Season

Imagine the transformative impact of a timely rain shower on your crops. You constantly monitor the forecast, radar, and western skies, hoping for that critical half-inch of rain that can significantly increase your yield by 10 to 30 bushels or more. Consistent, well-timed rains throughout the growing season can boost corn yields by over 50 bushels per acre.

With 360 RAIN, your crops receive the essential moisture they need to flourish. Simultaneously, it efficiently delivers nutrients, including manure, directly to the root zone.

For the first time, dairy and hog producers can utilize 360 RAIN to apply manure during the growing season, emptying lagoons and pits efficiently. This innovative approach eliminates fall spreading costs and enhances silage and forage production in-season.

360 RAIN gives producers control - control over moisture; control over application costs and manure management plans.

How It Works

The 360 RAIN is an autonomous machine powered by a diesel-electric drive, connecting to a water source through a 3-inch hose to deliver up to 0.5 inches of water per pass. It can irrigate 200 acres using a hose length of up to 3,000 feet.

Operated via cellular and dedicated RTK networks, the 360 RAIN navigates your field along paths created by your planter, ensuring thorough coverage of irregularly shaped fields. Wherever the planter goes, the 360 RAIN can follow.

Equipped with a vertical hose reel and advanced sensor systems, the machine efficiently lays out and retrieves the hose as it moves along its path away from and back to the water source. A manifold on the machine distributes water and nutrients along the boom, depositing them in a 15-inch band directly over the root zone. This targeted banding reduces evaporation compared to traditional pivot irrigation systems.

While not eliminating the need for screening, the manure manifold uses an impeller to minimize plugging risks from solids, bedding, and foreign objects.

System Specs

360 RAIN uses a small 24 horsepower diesel engine to generate electricity to the motors on the three drive wheels, the manure manifold, the hose dispenser system and the hose reel. The engine also provides the power for a small hydraulic motor that is used for steering the front tire and other machine functions.

With a 300-galloon fuel tank, 360 RAIN runs all season with just a couple of fuel fills.

Moving through the field without damaging row crops is the job of the hose dispenser. Through a group of sensors, the dispenser measures ground speed, reel speed and turn radius to dispense or retrieve hose without allowing the hose to be pushed or pulled.

The dispenser also adjust the hose position so it wraps evenly on the wheel.

A dedicated GPS and cellular communication system is included and allows the 360 RAIN unit to autonomously navigate through fields. The GPS receiver on the 360 RAIN machine communicates with a base station near the edge of the field.

The same GPS receiver is mounted on the planter and is used to record planter paths. These paths are then transferred to the 360 RAIN machine and used as the watering paths. Cellular communication is used to provide a connection back to the 360 RAIN mobile app. This app allows you to command and control the system from any location.

PErformance

BE MORE EFFICIENT

360 RAIN CAN GO WHERE OTHER IRRIGATION SYSTEMS CAN'T

Small fields? Fields with obstacles? Irregularly shaped fields? Simply fill out and submit our Map Your Field form, and our team will create a layout that optimizes coverage. With a maximum hose length of 3,000 feet, one 360 RAIN unit can irrigate up to 200 acres. The hose length for your machine will be tailored to your field layout, ensuring each machine is customized for your specific application.

Application rates are also determined by your field size.

Once we have created the design for your field, we will go over the best application rate with you.

ELIMINATE FALL APPLICATION COSTS

Using 360 RAIN, hog and dairy farms can empty pits and lagoons during the growing season, utilizing that nutrient-rich liquid to boost yield. Your 360 RAIN Dealer collaborates with your team to design a customized manure application system tailored to your manure types and distribution setup.

Every farm requires specific solutions for pumps, plumbing, and screening.

MANURE BUCKET AND IMPELLER

The 360 RAIN's optional manure application system allows for the injection of manure into the water stream, applying it in a precise 15-inch band over the root zone. This system includes a manure manifold and a bucket equipped with an impeller.

The impeller is crucial for breaking up solids, serving as the final step in removing solids and foreign materials before the stream enters the boom distribution lines to prevent clogging. For materials like hog manure, additional screening is often necessary near the pump to filter out syringes, bones, AI straws, and other solid objects.

MORE EFFICIENCY AND EFFECTIVNESS

FROM YOUR INPUTS
360 RAIN delivers water and nutrients with lower volume and energy costs when compared to traditional irrigation systems. It operates with wells supplying, on average, just 200-220 gallons per minute --- easily half to one-third of the volume required for center pivot systems.

WATER RECOMMENDATIONS
Well Volume - 200 to 220 GPM
Pressure - 115 PSI at the Well or Hydrant

POWER REQUIREMENTS
The base station, located near the edge of the field, requires 110V AC. The 360 RAIN package includes an electrical panel that is pre-wired to power the GPS and cellular network as well as inputs for up to four pressure or flow sensors and up to eight relays for wells, booster pumps and injector pumps.
